What if I don’t consume marijuana, can I still participate?

YES! Sharing the business opportunity and/or product is reason enough. If your friends sign up and buy in any capacity, you’re in a position to make a commission. Most likely you know a handful of people who do consume cannabis.  They most likely know a handful of people who do too. Our business is based on this tell-a-friend referral model.

I really want to start a new business. How do I start?

Great!  At this point, someone has already shared the VivaBuds concept with you.  If they’ve sent you a personalized link, click the link and sign up.  You will then receive a welcome email from the company.  This will include YOUR PERSONALIZED LINK. Use this link to share with your friends! It’s as simple and easy as that! 

Is there an incentive for becoming a member?

Just like joining a wholesale buying club, for an annual $100 Club Fee, you will receive access to our premium cannabis at wholesale pricing. That’s a 20% savings on every order! You will also have the option to participate in our “Tell-A-Friend” Referral Program – which means you will have the ability to earn 20% of every purchase made by Retail Customers who order from your FREE, pre-designed, personalized website and 10% of every purchase made by other Premium Customers like yourself. If they then share the opportunity with their friends, you can earn on their orders too… and so on… and so on!  That’s our Tell-A-Friend business model!

Is there a fee to sign up and order product?

No!  There is no fee to sign up as a retail customer. As a matter of fact, VivaBuds welcomes everyone!  If you choose to become a Premium Customer, there is a $100 annual membership fee which will give you your cannabis products for 20% off as well as the ability to earn money when you refer your friends to VivaBuds!

What can you tell me about the VivaBuds product?

We offer premium cannabis grown in a climate controlled, insect-resistant greenhouse, ensuring consistency of quality and potency.

What types of cannabis products are available for purchase?

  • We carry Indica, Sativa and Hybrid strains
  • Flower/Bud – Our cannabis is packaged in ¼ oz but you may order multiple units – up to the legal limit for recreational or medicinal use (whichever applies to you).
  • Pre-rolls are available in qty of 3 pre-rolls per package.
  • Vapes are available now.
  • Gummies are coming soon!

How much cannabis can I buy?

Adults 21 or older can buy and possess up to 1 ounce, or 28.35 grams, of adult-use cannabis, and up to 8 grams of concentrated cannabis.

Under MAUCRSA, medical cannabis patients and their caregivers can possess and transport up to 8 ounces, or 226.8 grams, of dried cannabis or concentrates and up to six mature plants, or 12 immature plants.

Where is VivaBuds available?

Currently, VivaBuds is available here in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California. Additional areas will be added soon within the state of California.

If you don’t currently reside in the delivery area, you can still join and invite your friends who may know people who reside in our ever expanding delivery area.

What are the VivaBuds hours for placing orders and how quickly can I get my order?

We accept orders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  We deliver 5 days a week, Tuesday – Saturday, between the hours of 2pm and 8pm.
Order before 12 noon for delivery by 5pm. Order before 5pm for delivery by 8pm. Orders after 5pm are delivered next day between 2pm and 8pm.

Is there a delivery charge?

What is required at the time of delivery?

A valid Driver’s License or State ID Card and medical license (if applicable) is required at time of delivery. No delivery will be made to ANYONE under 21 years of age (or 18 with a medical license) under any circumstances. We ONLY deliver to the person who ordered the product. There will be no exceptions!

Can someone else receive my delivery?

No. All deliveries must be received by the person who placed the order By Law! Your driver will ask to see your ID and have you sign when your order is delivered confirming you received the right products.

What happens to my order if I cancel?

If you cancel up to midnight in advance of the delivery date, your order will be restocked. If you cancel the day of delivery, there will be a $10 late cancellation fee added to your next order.

What happens if I am not home to accept delivery?

If we send a driver to you and you’re not home, our dispatcher will make an attempt to contact you to reschedule delivery. In the event we are unable to contact you, the order will be cancelled and restocked.

How do I pay for my order?

Payment will be made upon delivery. Cash, Visa & MasterCard Debit Cards Only, and American Express & Discover Credit Cards are accepted.

Card payments will be subject to a $2 service charge. You may need to verify transaction with your bank.

Is my credit card information safe?

Yes, we are PCI compliant and we do not store your credit card information.

Is VivaBuds licensed?

VivaBuds is a fully licensed company through their partnership with Natural Plant Extracts Natural Plant Extracts of California (“NPE”) and MCOA announced they had established a joint venture to form VivaBuds. (Adult use and medical use distribution license: C11-0000154-LIC)

Why do you ask for a Driver’s License?

We ask for a Driver’s License to confirm that you are over the age of 21 for recreational purchases, or 18 for medical use. We want to make sure you are who you say you are and we are delivering to the right person.

Will my Driver’s License be shared with anyone?

No. We do not share any of your personal information with anyone.

What if my Driver’s License is from another state?

That’s ok, we just need to confirm your name and age.

What if the address on my Driver’s License does not match my delivery address?

That’s ok! We just need to confirm your name and age.

Legal – Medical Marijuana Recommendations

What can a standard medical marijuana recommendation provide?

With a standard medical marijuana recommendation (like the one from NuggMD), you’re allowed to buy and possess more cannabis due to less restrictive purchase limits and increased possession limits. Additionally, the age restriction to purchase is 18 years of age instead of 21+.

In accordance with CA State law, a standard medical marijuana recommendation alone will not qualify an individual for a sales tax exemption.

An state issued MMIC card is required to waive sales tax on all orders. To obtain this card, you will need to contact your local government health department. For more information on how to obtain a MMIC, https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CHSI/Pages/MMICP.aspx

Will a medical marijuana recommendation save me money?

Only members with a verified government-issued MMIC (Medical Marijuana Identification Card) are eligible to claim a sales tax exemption on all their purchases.
